Norwegian Delegation in Saalbach 2025

This February, all eyes turn to Saalbach-Hinterglemm, as it hosts the 2025 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. A Norwegian delegation has arrived in Austria to attend the championship, and reports fantastic sporting moments and an impressive event so far!

Saalbach-Hinterglemm is considered one of the best ski resorts in the Alps, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and expansive, interconnected ski system. This is the second time the Alpine World Ski Championships are being held in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, as they also hosted the event in 1991.

We have high expectations for a strong Norwegian team, and look forward to 12 days of exciting competitions, featuring both speed and technical disciplines, super-combination, and team competitions.

As part of the preparations for #narvik2029, a well-organized delegation from Norway will attend the World Championships in Saalbach. The delegation includes representatives from the LOC board, the Norwegian Ski Federation, Narvik Municipality, and Narvikfjellet.

The delegation will focus on building networks, gaining event experience, facilitate knowledge exchange, and show support for the host nation.

We wish both FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025 and the Norwegian Team Alpinlandslaget the best of luck, and look forward to thrilling TV moments from home.
