We have focused on establishing a well-composed board with the expertise and diversity necessary to successfully organize a major international sporting event like the AWSC. Additionally, we have aimed to ensure continuity by including individuals who played key roles in the application process. This board strikes an excellent balance between continuity and renewal!

Tove Moe Dyrhaug, President of the Norwegian Ski Federation

The board has been established to take on the important responsibility for the large and challenging tasks ahead over the coming years. The Alpine World Championship will be the largest sporting event in Norway since the Lillehammer Winter Olympics in 1994.

Together with a highly skilled and proactive board, I am looking forward to embarking on this journey and accomplishing everything we set out to do. We are grateful for the trust placed in us, and we will do everything we can to ensure the World Championships leaves a lasting legacy, not only in the region but across the entire country and the global skiing community!

Eirik Frantzen, Chairman of the Board
