Organisational structure
The organizing company for the championship has been officially named Alpin VM Narvik 2029 AS. As per the agreement with the International Ski Federation (FIS), which was signed by the Norwegian Ski Federation and Narvik Municipality at the award ceremony in Reykjavik on June 4th, the organizational entity is described as the LOC (Local Organizing Committee).
In accordance with the FIS agreement, the organizing company and its board were to be established within six months of the award. With the company now formally established, and the board in place, recruitment for the organizing committee can proceed. The organizational structure for the event will be developed incrementally, based on current tasks, projects, and ongoing processes.
